Population
The biggest age groups of Kingston are in the 20-24 age group and the 45-49 age group. Some problems could be that Kingston will have to expand the city due to the population increasing in the 15-19 age group. That could also mean that there will be more competition for jobs. It will also mean a bigger work force.

Many french immigrants had come over to canada after the explorer found Kingston. That is why today there is still a strong french influence in Kingston. Ontario had dropped -10,611 in inter-provincial migration.

There has been a decline in immigrants since the new point system in immigration was introduced. Not all candidates that try to enter Ontario/Canada qualify. This could pose as a problem because it is determined that in the near future Canada will need to let in more immigrants to support the growing economy and support the growing work force. Canada should be letting more immigrants in, especially to help Kingston with its growing community and city.
